Weekend

I actually had a weekend! I'm off work today and the boys are out in the boonies, camping with their troop. I need to leave to go get them in a bit. I stayed out there with them Friday night. That was fun. That's why I stayed home last night LOL.

Imagine a sleepy woman around midnight, waking up to find her tent billowing up like it was about to be lifted. (OK, who didn't stake it down right?) If it wasn't for my being on a cot, the tent would have flown away and landed in the lake. The rain flap had flown off and was flapping in the wind. I had to wrestle it to get it back on. So, once more, last night I traded the excitement of outdoor living for my comfortable bed.

The place they are at is a favorite of ours, a place we have camped many times. We realized, though, that we hadn't been there since 9/11. It was nice to finally be able to go back there, like seeing an old friend. I'll comb through the millions of pictures I took and maybe post some ("Mom, put the camera away!!!")
