another world

I was flipping through blogs and came across this soldier's blog with pictures of Afghanistan. There was a picture of a little girl that really jumped out at me. We are so blessed to live in this country.

Speaking of the middle east, I wonder what it is like where my ExDH is. He writes now and then and things seem to be going well. I send him pics of the boys and "normal life." A boy in our scout troop has his father over in Iraq,who was just wounded by a roadside bomb. Still waiting for more news than that. We had our youth group meeting last night and so many fathers are in Iraq or Afghanistan. We are praying for all of them to return safely.
