We're back (2:00 a.m. musings)

Actually, we got back Sunday. I went as a chaperone/driver as we took some of our youth group to the Region 10 Catholic Youth Conference. It was a long drive, but worth the trip. The kids enjoyed it. They learned and shared a lot, and we saw the OKC Memorial. Heartbreaking. We had a prayer service there and it was very emotional.

While there, I met up with an old friend who lives locally. We hadn't seen each other since we were 13, living in Germany. Her daughter is the spitting image of how I remember her. It was really great catching up.

So now we are getting ready for Thanksgiving and still plodding along with school. I am on the cusp of some sort of cold/sinus thang. (Come on Echinachea!!)

Work is going smoother, finally. I'm so glad everything is settling into place. I had been stressed over it all, "oh, me of little faith." I definitely need to work on that. Pray for me/us?
